Make art inspired by inspiring stories. In each class we will dive deep into a historical figure, contemporary role model, or current event and let our imaginations and research dictate an artistic response to the material. Drawing, painting, sculptural, found-object, and multimedia techniques explored throughout the session.
Instructor: Jessica Peery
Instructor Bio: Jessica Peery is an art teacher at the Community School of Music and Art in Ithaca, and homeschool mom of five amazing kids! Her passion is to bring out the creative spirit in her students, while encouraging introspection and personal growth through artistic exploration.
