Mixed Media Art is a traditional and experimental artistic journey through creative discovery. In this class, we will explore art through a variety of media, finding inspiration from great artists of the past and present. Each day will begin with a thematic slide-show, followed by hands-on time to express creativity and refine artistic skills through collage, decoupage, paper mache, hand sewing, embroidery, clay sculpting, mandala dot painting, as well as traditional drawing and composition techniques.

Instructor Bio: Jessica Peery is an art teacher at the Community School of Music and Art in Ithaca, and homeschool mom of five amazing kids! Her passion is to bring out the creative spirit in her students, while encouraging introspection and personal growth through artistic exploration.
