Earth Science

Earth Science is a physical science course that encompasses the fields of geology, meteorology, oceanography, environmental science, and astronomy. In this class participants will cover such subjects as rocks and minerals, the changing surface of the Earth, the structure of the planet, natural cycles (water, currents, atmospheric), the formation of the universe, our astronomic neighbors, and much, much more. The course will involve a mix of lecture, reading, projects, and labs. The primary text for this course will be CK-12s Earth Science for High Schoolers (appropriate for middle schoolers as well).
